ABOUT
Based in South Yorkshire, I have extensive experience working within the design industry having been the Head of Artwork and Repro for an agency of over 75 people with it's own photography studio with 3 full time Photographers.
I specialise in retouching from simple cutouts to technical retouching and spot colour conversion work, through to realising the potential of a creative brief. By working with Photographers and Art Directors at the initial stages, I can take the raw images through to final print ready files. I am passionate, creative and fully committed to every job.
I work also as a DIT/DIGI on multi day studio and location photography shoots across the UK and overseas, with responsibility for all the data created on the shoot. As the DIGI and Retoucher the combined role gives be the benefit of being able to work collaboratively with Photographer, Client and Art Director regarding the creative brief and images taken. This allows me then to create the final retouched images on return.
As well as retouching I am also an experienced artworker, taking jobs from rough visuals and scamps to fully print ready files built to print specific specifications across all print media including FMCG packaging, press ads, leaflets and POS.
